World Map (x2) Malat

Out of the blue a setting idea hit me over the weekend. A setting that requires at least two world maps several thousand years apart (for reasons that will become apparent). I only seem to be able to attach one image to the post so I'll follow up with the second map immediately.

I've given it the provisional name of Malat though that might change.

This is the earlier period map and I've already started with the mountains. I'm wondering if they look okay?

And this is the second map several thousand years later. As you can see they have a major problem. In my head it's going to be a dying - but perhaps not certainly doomed - world.

Also this one doesn't have mountains yet.

Yeah, the seas are slowly vanishing (slowly in human terms... in geological terms it's ridiculously super-fast). It's a supernatural/magical phenomenon rather than natural.

By the way, you can add more than one image to a post, but you need to add the first image and submit the post, then edit your post and you can add more images.

I'm currently working on the climates on the maps... I'm using the Climate Cookbook but my poor brain is hurting.
