Map i've been working on off and on over the last month or so (the days of my rapid mapping are over thanks to RL family illness and work) for my players in case they find themselves down at the old docks outside the small city of Dusk.

Me, too.....i can see some great long range attacks from across those docks and ships! Great fun for my ranger and warlock, not so much for the monk and cleric. lol

That's absolutely fantastic. And I see a TON of opportunity for the monk, at least (ranger, too). Look at all those places to jump and climb and make cool, dramatic, combat maneuvers. Plus, ballistae!

And, as always, I love your scale bar and compass rose. Just awesome.

I am worried about the cleric though. The last time I had a player bring a cleric to a ship combat, she used water walk and a couple of flame strikes. Suffice to say, those poor ships didn't stand a chance. She basically made the other guys feel very unneeded at that point

It´s a wonderful map. I recognize some boats from some image catalogs but the coast and the sea are gorgeous! Congratulations!

Delightful, even if it is a bit early (or is it late?) for "Talk Like A Pirate Day" on Sep 19!

Seems a bit churlish to even suggest it, but perhaps a few more mooring lines for the larger vessels might be useful?

The small ship with the ballistae will be full of bandits hoping to steal a shipment of coveted substance called Shiver Leaf (similar to coca leaf in Peru)....I sure am looking forward to it! I'm also thinking of throwing in a river monster or two that inhabit the treacherous Miner River if a PC or NPC falls in the water or spend any significant time in it.

Sue, yes a few are and Bogie's. Also, the larger vessel is a CC3 Annual example map that i made into a symbol

Wyvern and JIm, i believe you're right, i think the two larger vessels are in need of additional mooring line or two.
