Since I do not have any commission work to do at the present, I decided to have some fun and make some Empire of the Sun maps. I was strongly inspired by the great work done by tonnichiwa. This one is just a simple coastal map.

I remember him doing some that were really cool, but I just threw this together. These are remarkably easy to do. It takes you more time to figure out your design than it does to actually do it. I also plan to do an island, a castle, and a mountain scene as well in this style. Because of the style, you have to look at how you can make them look different; using a theme should do that.

I would love to see a symbol update for this set. Especially some oriental dragon designs and maybe some warrior designs. Oriental maps have a lot of cool things on them.

I like it, though i prefer this style on mountains rather than coasts. Still, good looking one!
