Insert Building style issues
So it's been a while since I used CC3 and I find myself learning it all over again. So I'm having a little trouble house settings when I use the Insert Building feature. When I created the map, I selected the City Streets style from the 2016 (CA117) Annual but later decided that I preferred the City Designer 3 Bitmap A style. Here's the issue.. Even though I went to Drawing Properties and attached that style, when I launch the Insert Building menu, all the CD3 A buildings look horrible... The CA117 buildings look great. What gives?

I'm perplexed what the attach style feature in the Drawing Properties does.. It doesn't seem to have any impact on my map.
The style you select in the drawing properties is just what tools CC3 will offer for that map by default. Normally, it should never be changed (Because most other styles won't work with the current map)
On a side note, I'm having another challenge with the Insert Building feature. I'm making a city map based on a hand drawing from a friend with the CD3A style and I really like the look of the building symbols and have used it for half of the buildings in my map. Then I got to a hand-drawn building that doesn't really match any of the symbols that well and I'm forced to use the Insert Building feature. I was thinking that it would create the same look as the symbols but it doesn't. The symbols look really nice with shading and shadowing. The Insert Buildings feature creates a weak facsimile of the same building and it sticks out like a sore thumb. Is this working as designed? If so, I'm really bummed because this city was just starting to look great.
Otherwise I cannot thnik of a reason for it.
Thanks, guys!
( Its been a rough week for me.)
