Using CC3+ to draw playing cards

I'm working on some board game designs. I need to generate 2.5"x3.5" cards and was thinking of using CC3+ to draw the cards. Problem is how do I set up a project/file that I could use to dump out 8.5"x11" documents with 2.5"x3.5" cards? I've been using Inkscape but CC3+ has more capability and I'd like to use it.

I guess you have lots of options here. The great thing about CC3 for things like this is being able to print to specific scales.

I would probably begin with a completely blank document (Start from just about any template, then delete everything in it), enter the drawing properties dialog, and set map units to inches. Then draw a 8.5 by 11 map unit rectangle (Which is your paper size), and draw the cards inside it (using inches as the unit). You can draw many pages in a single file, and you can use view to only print a single page.

You can also use CC3's multi-page printing feature, but that is a bit more tricky, because of the print margins involved, but you could start out with slightly smaller rectangles, and then manually adjust the overlap value to get a good result, but that is probably a bit more fiddling.
Obviously, if you need two-side printing (card backs), that is generally a whole lots of fiddling no matter the program, to get things to line up.
