So, the post vacation, missing my family blues has set in. I made this up last night during my jet lag reset. It's just a place i wish existed. I really wanted to play around with this style, to make some hand drawn maps for my D&D campaign, and since I don't have the drawing talent of Sue, i think it's the closest i'll get

The names are reminiscent of my family and the island they are from. Ahhhh.....to dream.......

Its perfectly charming, Lorelei, and I really don't think you have anything to worry about with your drawing skills. They are about the same as mine. In fact you've managed to get away without having to use any sheet effects to improve them any... whereas I had to use quite a few blur and fade effects to disguise the rough edges!

Do you draw all the lines on your cliffs separately, or is there some tool you use instead. I love the cliff look, but very tedious if every line must be drawn separately.

It is from the Overland SS1 Handrawn. I don't have the time or the talent to do it by hand

Thanks for that, Lorelei. I haven't really looked at SS1 with cliffs and plateaux in mind. I absolutely love all your work - it's inspirational

Ah....Sue, that paper is part of some annual or symbol set. It only had to touch it up some in PS. It's not nearly as authentic as your curled parchment!

Thank you, qwalker! The program gets most of the credit. I, like some of the others, have just figured out some unique and creative ways to use an already great program!
