Hand Drawn Symbol Scale
I have read the TouM regarding raster scale and I believe I am comfortable with the method there, my real question is for hand drawn symbols that will be scanned in, what would a decent physical size be for a 200*200 image at scale 1. I.e 10 miles in overland.
I realize its all relevant an many physical scales can be adjusted and scanned ppi is a factor etc, I am just looking for a decent average. 2" square ? 1" ? And at what ppi scan setting.
Any help would be appreciated,
Bill

To create an image 200x200 you only technically need a third of an inch square with a 600 dpi scanner, but you'll probably want the "source" image to be much larger than the VH image in CC3.

I'd love to see it
