A bitmap rendering question

Something is happening in one of my maps that I just don't understand. I'm hoping someone can explain why this is happening, because I don't recall it ever happening before. In my fcw, for my Devil's Playground map, I have all of my bitmaps set at a specific scale size, to lessen the redundancy. I'm then rendering them as jpegs, so that I can save larger images.
The larger the image I save, the higher the bitmap redundancy appears. Let me see if I can get away with posting the two sizes, to show what I mean...

If you'll notice, the redundancy is higher in the second image, the larger image. But my fcw has the bitmaps fixed at a specific scale. So why is this happening?
Sorry, typo fixed.
Click the little box at the end of the top row that starts "FS:..." select your lava bitmap from the dropdown list in the bitmaps tab, tick "Scaled" then set an X and Y scale for the bitmap (usually about 100-150 I think). If its too small or too large, then repeat the process and adjust the x & y scale until you get it just right. That should fix the 'size' issue.
