Tome of Ultimate Mapping problem

Hi.
I've installed CC3+ and CD and DD for this version, but i can't installa Tome of Ultimate Mapping... installation ask me for CC3 (not plus).
But is important for others aspect that I install CC3 also? Or if I've installed CC3+ I can trash CC3?

Hi DVLuca. The Tome of Ultimate Mapping setup program is not compatible with CC3+. See my explanation in a recent topic here.

Ah, you can just download the pdf for the Tome. At least my registration page lets me do that.

Then you would need CC3 installed as well. Note that you should be able to open them in CC3+ too after installing, but you would have to run the FFIX command on each file to get the multiple-resolution handling in CC3+ to work correctly with it.

Well, I installed CC3 on a virtual machine and saved all tutorial files.
Where can I find FFIX command?

Remy, I know it will be a lot of work, but is there an update planned on the Tome to make it compatible with cc3+?

Yes, I am currently working on it. The thing takes time though, more than I initially though the update would take. I am pretty confident the end result will be a nice upgrade from the previous version though

A good interim solution might be an update on the installer to allow installation under CC3+ and an update of the tutorial files that have been FFIXed, with a manual update of macros, if any. I don't need this for myself, but other users obviously do.

No pressure, Remy!!! I know you have a lot on your plate! I know I'm not that great with all things technical, but I'm a pretty good writer... and I have written articles and tutorials before...granted they were on techniques in poetry...but it's the same principle.

I'd be willing to do some of the write ups, if you think it would help.
