Is there a way to show grid in ONLY corridors, caverns, rooms? For example, if I am showing a tunnel through a mountain, only the tunnel will have the grid, not the surrounding solid background. Thanks for any help

1. Create a copy of your background, multipoly it with the outline of your dungeon, and place it over the grid. This will hide the grid outside the mapped areas.
2. Instead of using a regular grid, create a polygon in the same shape as your dungeon, and set it to use the Square Grid fill style. Place this polygon on the grid sheet. Since this polygon is in the same shape as the dungeon, that is the only parts that will have a grid.
Both these options are discussed in more details in the Tome of Ultimate Mapping if you own that.
Explode the grid so it is a collection of parts, then trim each line in the grid at the edge of your mapped area.
Remember that if a line goes from one mapped area to another you will need to break the line between the mapped areas.
Click on Add Corridor, select foreground of Square Grid, 10', and background, and put the corridor on the map. I noticed the Squre Grid, 10' isn't available under Cosmographer deck plans. I didn't see other size squares there either.
My entry for Shessar's competition has the grid I believe you maybe looking for...all I did was move the grid sheet up so that it was below the floor sheet, but above all the others. You might can try that.
1. They don't install into CC3+, only into CC3, so you need to have CC3 installed to get them to install in the first place (Which you can have installed along with CC3+ without problems). Once you have them, you can use them with CC3+ just fine (You may want to copy them somewhere else than the CC3 installation directory, but that is not required)
2. Because of the new data directory in CC3+, the maps don't take advantage of the multi-resolution systems for fills/symbols. The maps still work fine, but they can behave a bit more sluggish or have blockier resolution. This can easily be fixed by typing FFIX (and hit enter) on the CC3+ command line after loading the map, but doesn't strictly need to be done to use the map.
