    1. That depend on the map style you are using. If it is just a solid fill polygon, change properties can be used to change the color of the entity, but if it has a bitmap fill, you need to change the actual fill used by changing the fill style in the change properties dialog.

    2. If you have DD3, I would probably import the lava bitmap from there, and use that as the fill for the lakes/rivers. If you don't have DD3, you could also search the net for a tiling lava texture you can use.
  • ok to number one i get it how i can do this

    about my second question.

Once you have found a decent texture in png format, copy it somewhere reasonable, inside the CC3+ data directory is the best, something like @Bitmaps\Tiles\MyTextures, and make sure the image has a nice recognizable name.
Then, from within CC3+, go to Tools -> Import bitmap fill styles. Browse to the directory you placed your textures, check the 'create other resolutions' checkbox (only required the first time after placing new images in that folder, this causes CC3+ to generate different sizes of the texture). You should also check the Scaled option and if you know anything about it, provide the scale values. Once you click OK, CC3+ will process the image, and reference it as a fill style in the current map. You should now find your new fill in the fill style dialog, as well as in the dropdown for fill style in the change properties dialog.

Once you have tested the new fill style in your map, you should have an idea if the fill is scaled properly or not. To change the scale, click the fill style indicator, go to the Bitmap files tab, select your texture in the dropdown, and change the values for scaled. For an image that wasn't created with scale in mind, this will be a bit of trial and error.
  • i did what you said and it worked thank you very much :)
