Everyone,
The members of the CC2-Tools group will soon be working on creating some new functionality to CC3. The groups goals are two fold:
1- To add useful commands to CC3.
2- Teach how to create command for CC3.
We are currently discussing which tool we will create first. If you have any ideas, either add to this discussion or join the CC2-Tools group and help us decide.
Once we have picked a command to implement, we will be creating another discussion in this forum to manage the project and document our progress. We plan on each command having a separate discussion.

One of the participants in the project.
1- A popup menu version of CMB (Combine paths)
2- An enhanced version of the list command (With images of the selected entities. Suitable for printing?)
3- A random name command (To randomly name countries and villages)
4- A calendar command (so you can create a calendar that is associated to a map or set of maps and date stamp them)
5- A game notes command (so you can enter and retrieve previous notes during game play)
6- A nudge command (To move all the selected entities a set distance in the direction of the arrow key pressed,
and keep moving them around until the command is canceled)
Chris H.'s Idea
A tool to grab images from google maps, and auto import them into CC3 at the correct scale.
What about a Night Sky/Constellation generator? I've created one for my campaign, and it was a pain to manually place all those "stars". When I get home, I'll see about digging up mine as an example.
Anna's Ideas
Here's another tool idea, population generator for communities. Maybe combine the name generator with it. An extension for this would be determining number of buildings for a community based on population. (already have numbers to work with too. )

Also, it sounds so simple, but isn't there now - make the text in the list window SELECTABLE so you can copy from it. (I'd love to be able to paste the list into notepad and search/etc)
