house symbols in CC3+

Are there any *house only* symbols that I can use in Overland Maps? The smallest habitation symbols are hamlets and I just want a single house that's not something like a Manse or Chateau.

If you aren't already using an HW template you can still use the HW symbols by clicking the folder symbol below the 'Options...' button, navigating your way to the HW folder, and then double clicking any of the images within it.
The path to the HW folder is shown in the attached screen shot, along with one of the hamlet symbols that is actually a single cottage (in my opinion).
Any chance of a snapshot picture to give me some spark of an idea, perhaps?
Had to crop it so the forum would upload it.
It's unlikely that CC3+ will have a single, modern-looking house or building. As you know, it was designed primarily for large-scale, overland maps like the ones found at the beginning of many fantasy novels.
That said, symbols are just PNG images, so you can copy one of the "hamlet" images from the Structures folder and edit it in Paint or some other image editor. Then import it back into CC3+ as described on page 76 of the CC3+ User Manual. Just be sure to copy the symbol out of the original folder and to only edit the copy!
If necessary, you can search the world wide web for PNG-format images and then import one of those. Also, for CC3+, you can drag and drop PNG images from your web browser directly into your map! Naturally, be careful of any copyright issues.

The idea with symbols is that they are just that - symbols. A symbol is different to an actual drawing of something in that it simply marks the spot where something is at. For example (and I think I am citing the user manual in some way here), a single tree symbol would usually represent a copse, and a group of them a whole forest. Its like using a simple spot to mark the location of a city.
If you can find a png image of a house that you would like to use as a symbol, or if you draw one, then add it to the User folder in the Symbols folder, you can use it just like any other symbol. the only drawback is that unless you have the software to make the background of your chosen image, or drawing transparent, or know someone who can, the symbol you make will always be a little square picture on your map.
The other problem is that I find it very hard to work out what kind of symbol you mean from just a description. Do you have any actual images of this house you would prefer to use?
(I might be able to help you if I had the image to work with)
I suspect I'm being overly fussy in what I want. I'm currently googling for things - will post when I've found something.
Does he have any perspective objects in that collection that would be suitable for an overland map style? I can't remember now.
That page doesn't show houses, so there may or may not be one there you can use.

This next possibility has a very large selection, but the style might not be right. Take a look

This link takes you to a graphic of a barrel cooperage, but you can pick any of many other types of buildings below and to the left.
