I have been experimenting with my oceans and rivers and have a new version of these for my world. I wanted something that looked good regardless of what zoom level I was at and I wanted ocean contours that were not so drastic in color change. This is Vagoth with the new changes.

I'm liking how these are turning out Charles. I don't think you give yourself enough credit. I've really come to appreciate what you've been doing with this world. There is so much material on it that I get overwhelmed sometimes. Thats a good thing!

Inspiring as always Charles. I'm not sure if I like your maps more or your characters more. Both capture the setting perfectly.

I have to ask though, are you tired of doing pine forests yet? Hehe.

Seriously though, your perseverance and dedication to you mapping is humbling.

As the maps move farther south the forests will change.

It is a matter of time - LoL!

I would love to find better jungles that don't create that square pattern so much though.

Some of the vegetation.fsc symbol sets have individual jungle trees to go with the square areas. Ah, the same one I just mentioned for pyramids has two overhead palm trees. One is vari-color. Four palm trees and two are vari-color.
