Well, if this is only the second floorplan you have ever drawn, you are making excellent progress!
There is only one thing bothering me. There is a dark shadow around each of the wall torches. Is that the way the symbol normally looks, or do you have some kind of sheet effect on that sheet?
Wow! Great job on this! Although keep an eye on your shadows. The rug on your Statis Chamber seems to be on a Symbol Sheet set with shadows. Try moving it to the Symbols Flat Sheet.
That is what the symbol looks like. I agree that they would look better with just the yellow part of the glow, but I am still at the point where I am making some compromises due to my inability to bend the software to my will.

If I may offer a suggestion to deal with those shadows on the wall torches? Right now you have your floors and walls using the same bitmap fill. If you were to change your floors to a darker stone it would do two things.
#1 - it would add dimension and depth to your map. Most people don't use the same material to make both floors and walls. And it's my experience that walls are generally lighter than floors.
#2 - it would better hide that dark shadow outline, if the floors were a darker fill.
Of course, this is just a suggestion . Overall I would say you are doing an excellent job! Keep it up
