What's in a name?

Sue has come up with the great idea to start a cc3+ mappers group on the website. It would be a great way to help generate interest in cc3+ products, collectively show maps made with cc3+ and connect cc3 users on the guild site.

But we need a name for the group. I think the name should have something to do with cc3+. So if we decide on a name that uses profantasy or cc3+ in it... Do we need to ask permission to use the name? And if we do... May we have permission?

Yes, we do. I think Storm was rushing her words a bit - her phone was nearly out of charge. She told me so in an email about the same time.

The album is already set up. Redrobes (site admin) decided to take the lead, but the name of "CC3 Users" is just a temporary tag until we decide one.

You know that's really strange. I don't remember having the idea. I think it was Chickpea who suggested it. I just started the poll to find out if anyone was interested in joining up.

Like I said before - all are welcome. This is not a closed shop by any means. Campaigning Cartographers, as I have asked Redrobes to re-name us, was never meant to be a tiny clique made up exclusively of just a handful of CC3 mappers. We have members as diverse as Redrobes (CG Admin), Chickpea, and Diamond (both of them CG Community Leaders who have no experience of CC3 whatsoever, but who are simply interested enough in what we do to want to join and listen in).
