Having difficulty installing on new computer

I've bought a new laptop, so have begun the process of installing CC3+

The core CC3+ seemed to install fine, so I moved on to Character Artist 3 (it takes ages to download the files so I am doing it gradually). Ran the installation for CA3 (using the file that said it was for CC3+ and then try to open CC3+

Effects.dll"

CC3+ then loads (in Character Artist) mode but no symbols are visible.

Any ideas or guidance?

Have you installed the latest update after installing CA3?

I can't see any update anywhere to install - I've used the CC3+ downloaded from the site yesterday which is already CC3+ 3.74 and then installed the CA3 for CC3+ downloaded from the site last night. I cannot see any further updates.

Try to install Update 8. While your main CC3+ is already up to date, there may be components installed by CA3 which are not, since that installer predates 3.74. If that doesn't help, I suggest you contact Technical Support
