  • Another user in tanelorn already answered with a solution, there, but for the sake of complete coverage:

    1. click "Change Properties" -left toolbar or in the Edit-dropdownmenu
    2. Rightclick anywhere on the map, choose "Layer"
    3. Rightclick again, this opens layer dialog. Choose layer "COAST/SEA" and click ok.
    4. Right click and click "Do It". The "Change Properties" Dialog opens.
    5. Change Fill Style to "Solid" and colour to #0 (black). (check the ticks.)
    6. then click OK and the coastline should be black now.

  • Actually, there are a few ways you can.fix.this.

ChaosAmptom is ALMOST correct, except that you don't want to change it in the layer...you want to change it in the SHEETS. For cc3+, the layers group objects, and the sheets are where you ma ultimate them.

Of course, you can always remove the blue line entirely by deleting the coastline sheet.

I think there's a misunderstanding here. You can definitely select entities by Layer. That's actually the main purpose for layers in, both, CC3 and in CC3+.

Edit-related changes don't occur to the sheets or to the layers, they occur to the entities themselves. Sheet effects, on the other hand, are only modified on the sheets, and then they are applied to their respective entities. But changing size, color, width, or deleting, copying or whatever is done directly to the selected entities. That said, if you delete a sheet, you delete all entities assigned to the sheet. Probably the same with a layer, but I've never successfully deleted a layer, itself, that contains entities.

Layers let you select entities, regardless of which sheet they might be on, which makes them extra handy. In fact, if you right-click after you select an editing tool, such as copy, resize, or change properties, you'll see a "Layer" option in the pop-up menu (as in step 2, above), but you won't find a "sheet" option (even though it might be useful).

Also, you don't need to delete the COASTLINE sheet itself to delete the coastline outline. If you follow the steps above for the Erase function instead of the Change Properties function, you can simply select and delete the outline entity, leaving the sheet for use later, if you want.

I'll add that you should be able to change the coastline outline color simply by changing the color, at least in the Mike Schley Overland style; you shouldn't need to change the fill style to solid. That may not be the case for all styles, though, and changing the fill style certainly won't hurt anything.

Hi Rikou, welcome to CC3 and to the ProFantasy forum! I hope we've helped without confusing you.

    Cheers,
