Venator Class Star Destroyer
First, I was going to post this under Ralf starship post. I must give credit to him, but I wanted people to see this new post. It was his Star Destroyers that motivated me to do this, so thanks Ralf.
Secondly, this is my first diorama, so please be gentle. I would like to improve my ability in all CC3 products, so comments and feed back are welcome.
Finally, if there was a hard way to draw this ship I found it, and even if there wasn’t a hard way, I made one up. I look at it this way. I learned SO MUCH by trying this project out. I’m happy with the results and I can only improve.
With out further a due here is my Venator Class Star Destroyer. I must tell you I did get a little impatient at the end of this. It is almost finished. I am putting the final touches of paint on as we speak. Anyhow ask away and I will do my best to explain what I did. Thanks again
These pics are in different stages of construction. I hope to have the final pics posted with in the next two days.

I'm happy to see that you took inspiration from my attempts - and believe me I can well understand the "impatient" part. These things become so incredibly fiddly on assembly.
You did a great job! I think it looks good
Thanks Ralf for your comment, and were did you get your bases for your ships? The base I have this model on is a temp until I can find something better.
I can finally move on to the next part of this project. I going to try to make fighters out of modeling clay. Yet another inspiration passed on by Ralf...I will post the results when I am finished.
I got my bases from Brigade Models in the UK. Very reasonable prices and shipping costs.
