Ethacia, hex mapping project...
I've posted about this one before, but it's a long in the process project finally coming to fruition. Ethacia, a flintlock fantasy "New World" using a Fate Accelerated Hack inspired by Black Sails and a handful of flintlock fantasy novels I've read...a very human-centric world. We have just starting playing and populating the new continent, a sandbox style game.
Love me some hex maps...large scale one is 2500 x 2500 miles with 10 mile hexes and the grids are 125 miles each.

The "desired" entry point to the island for the heroes is the small native village on the northwest coast, nestled in calm water behind a sandbar with sample beachfront. They could of course choose to approach the lost temple in the highlands from the southeast but that could be very treacherous given the rocks and cliff walls. I think a dangerous trek through the jungle is in store.

This new map has added some labels to show where some Old World nations are beginning to colonize the mainland...Cambridge (Britain, Ireland, Scotland), Krisuvik (Nordic/Viking), Piyang (southeast Asia), and Seville (Spain). The native cultures in place right now are a mix...Maori/Polynesian in the islands and Aztecan/Mayan on the main land.
