Perspectives 3 - Usage of shadow-bitmaps of Bitmap A symbols ?

Hello everyone,
the new Perspectives 3 for CC3+ comes along with a couple of different symbol styles.
While the Bitmap B set consists of many varicolor symbols, the Bitmap A style consists of symbols (e.g. furniture) each with a shadow png situated in a folder inside the symbol set.
Does somebody know, when usage of these files is made or when theses shadow symbols are needed?
