Community Symbols

I thought I'd share a view of the community symbols I use in my campaign world maps, derived from the days when I drew my maps by hand. I also took a tip from the Mayans (attaching symbols to symbols to augment their meaning).
Each symbol is designed to describe some important properties of the "community" it stands for such as:
Base Types
1. Non-City Types: Tower, Keep, Stronghold
2. City Size: Small, Medium, Large
Walls
1. Single circle = no wall
2. Double circle = wooden wall (stockade)
3. Double circle with spokes = stone wall
Attached Symbols
1. Crown = capital
2. Wave = port
3. Skull and Crossbones = ruin
(yes, I know... a port capital has a choice of two symbols... can't have everything)
Cheers
