Realms of Noth-Arant (13th Age style)

For my campaign setting I've finally finished the map for the northern continent, on which currently all adventure runs.
Originally (over 8 years ago) this map was created in the standard CC3 style from a formerly sketched imaged. In the last three years I've reworked the complete map (adding lots more details) and changed the style to the incredible 13th Age style...

Beautiful work. I love the coastlines and the many, many islands. And the rivers look amazing. And, now that I think about it, even the labeling is beautiful! The whole thing looks very realistic. Bravo!

The only thing i don´t like about this style is the mountains, specially the colour (i know it´s based on 13th age game, but still). When i finish my map i will try to change it using PS.

You could do what I do, use symbols from several Annual issues. The Alyssa Faden issue, number 95, has some good mountains. I use them in my maps, some with the Age 13 template.

I must aggree, the mountains are a bit problematic, because they look always a bit barren. But they blend perfectly in the other fill styles so I've decided to use them.

Could try, the issue is that this style asks for a zenit view of the mountains, not the perspective ones hat CC uses to get on its annuals.

Then just use the zenith view mountains symbols fomr another Annual. I was making a 'cross annual idea'.
