Using the CSUAC

Okay, I've downloaded and installed the CSUAC. I've even started using some of it's symbols in my maps... but there are still a few options to the csuac that I'm having issues with.

First, I want to be able to build houses using the csuac roof options... but I haven't the first clue how to do this. Second, I want to be able to use the bitmap fills. Shouldn't they be in with my bitmaps? I can't seem to find them. I would greatly appreciate any assistance that you could give me!

What do you mean by the CSUAC roof options?

    The CSUAC fills are in:

(Data Folder)\CC3plus\Bitmaps\CSUAC Fills\ and stored there in three different folders:

    BL_FM8 Floor Fills
    BL_FM8 Landscape Fills
    BL_FM8 Structural Fills
  • I don't know what I was thinking with the roof options...that's your collection, which is now installed and functioning!

The bitmap fills, I'm trying to figure out how to use inside the program. Also...I may have been imagining this, but after I got the CSUAC installed... I spent about an hour looking through all of the folders, amazed at all the different types of symbols.

One in particular that I was glad to see was the well symbol. I have been searching for weeks for a good well! Now I'm ready to use it, and I'll be hanged if I can find the blasted thing. I'm beginning to think I imagined it! But I need a good well for my map(s)

If there is a well symbol in the CSUAC collection, I was unable to find it. But you can have all of the wells that you'll ever need if you download this (free):

    http://www.vintyri.org/downloads/wells.zip (4 MB)

Then do only one thing. Unzip it into:

    (Data Folders)\CC3Plus\Symbols\CSUAC\BL8_FM8 Structures Pt 1

Then restart CC3+. After that, you should find the well symbols in in a new category named Wells under the CSUAC group BL8_FM8 Structures Pt 1
  • Thank you so much! That was very sweet of you, especially since I know you must be a very busy person! I will be downloading and installing these tomorrow!
