The secret underground temple the Byrewell Secret Caverns map leads to several miles further through treacherous tunnels and caverns in the Upper Underdark. Here my players will have a battle with several priests of Talona the Goddess of Disease. If successful, they will (hopefully) find evidence of her ritual and plans to inflict a "Mad Blight" across the lush forests of our lands, starting with inflicting wounds the Rangers, Druids, and Clerics of the God of the Forest with The Blade of Blight (insert evil laugh here)....

This is the first cavern they discover coming from the Estate, where the Count, who is a warlock who has a secret pact with Bayemon the Demon Lord of the Unhealed Wound (notice a theme, lol) tortures his victims and practices necromancy. The tunnel on the bottom left leads to the temple several miles further southeast.

I was talking about the statue in the top right corner of the first map.

I think it is some rocks - sort looks like a raccoon type critter though - LoL!

Oh....haha! It's a statue of the goddess with her arms stretched upward. Behind her, is also a rock. Rocks, i like them. lol.

I love these maps, they are so wicked! Just one question... and it's mostly curiosity... why do you have rocks on top of your 'walls'? In the top map, I mean... can your players get up there? One of your cavern collums(top left one) is half on the floor, and half on the wall, suggesting the wall sides are actually cliff ridges. Was that intended?

Thank you! The rocks are there to imply that this part of the soil is more rocky rather than just dirt over the harder rock cavern, it's in a location closer to a mountain range. I probably shouldn't have kept the "shadow" effect, but honestly it looked better with it and it will print up better in poster size. And yes, the column was intended to look like it is not standing solitary, but part of the curved cavern wall, as if there is a small niche "almost" behind it, yet not...if that makes sense? Shoot i just wish i could actually draw worth a penny with what my mind pictures, and what i can actually put on a page....sooooooo frustrating. I mean, hell, i know we all have our gifts, and quite frankly i think i am a kick ass ER nurse, so i should be grateful i got the goods to do that.....but......(whines like a child) I wish i could draw!!!! And i'd rather do THAT for a living instead (stamps foot). LOL. Thank you, as usual for the compliments and comments
