I'm actually makin' a treasure map like this for me brother's birthday this weekend, har har! 'Tis a pirate-themed murder mystery ahoy. An' I thank ye for some inspirational idears. Yarr!
Arr, Well tell that lanky, rum swillin brother o' yer's ta have a happy birthday!
Glad I could give ye some idear's fer mappin where ye buried yer own treasure matey!
An' ye be careful makin that map o' yer's. Why, when I was makin mine, I was almost caught by those filthy rotting swamp monkeys! That's not sumthin ta witness! They'll tear ye apart, jus fer lookin at em'. An throwin em' a banana don't do no good. They don't even look at it, they just keep comin fer ye...
Great map.
Yer spot on about those critters of Deadwood...why, poor ole' Phineas thought he'd lost em an' that they couldn't smell im' out...Poor fella got his, right when he was makin camp!
They smelt that fyre e'd built an' that was all she wrote.
here's hoping you never get,
a peg leg,
Happy Birthday to you !
Thank ye, Cap'n JimP!
Maybe next time me crew git's ta sailin, ye'll spare us from yer Sea Serpent's or Kraken fer providing ye with a bit o' enjoyment an' the whereabout's to me treasure. Do we have an accord?
Thank ye 14cross! Ye wouldn't be the same Mr Cross that shot the eye out o' the lizardman king with a crossbow at 450 paces would ye? Why e' was takin a raid'n party over ter Port Green when we ran across im'. Sneakin thru the swamp e' was. It was Mr Cross that spotted i'm furst. Mr Cross took aim an' fyred! I ain't never seen a raidn' party lose 'eart so fast and leg it. What a sight!
Just love the whole look of it.
Out of curiosity I was wondering if Saint Antony is related to a St. Anthony, name got spelled differently at some point in history as the street on the orger side of the block I live on is called St. Anthony.
Now that it is no longer my birthday though I am no longer speaking in pirate. Anyway, yeah It is actually supposed to be Anthony but I chose to change it for two reasons. First, my real name is Tony but some people still think my name is Anthony. And I get tired of it so I try not to use the name Anthony in anything.
Second, is because I wasn't sure if I used the real saints name if I would offend someone's religious beliefs so I chose to change it to something that sounded similar.
And if you look up Saint Anthony it says he is the patron saint of finding things (or lost people) so it fits with a treasure map, don't you think?
And Thank you Kevbeck43. I'm glad both of you guys like it. I was surprised it came together as well as it did.

To understand, you need to know that as members of BRPS we were the 'elite' writers group to belong to on the poetry sites we were members of. We were most known for our dark and gothic poetry, although we pushed ourselves to write in depth about any topic. Nothing was sacred for us. I had never tried dark and gothic before joining this group, but I learned very quickly I had a knack for it, as well as for dark twisted writing, especially twist endings! It's actually made me a better GM, learning this fact... it's made my story lines more in depth, less predictable.
The BRPS and I parted ways in less than amicable circumstances... but I've never regretted my time with them. I'm a much better writer, and better GM for it.
