I've downloaded Vintyri's symbol set, and the CSUAC... A d I'm looking forward to using them!
I started reading g the Installation instructions, and ran I to a snag. The PDF shows how to access the hidden files, but I think that's through Windows XP, or 7. The laptop I'm using has Windows 8, and I can't figure out how to get to the hidden files. Does anyone k is how to do this for Windows 8?

Curious question: Why haven't you done the free update to Windows 10? I know no Windows 8 user who has regretted the update.
I few months ago, I built a new computer and decided that since I was going from scratch, I'd go with the newest operating system out this time.
Windows 10 works great. No complaints there. They made some weird choices, like replacing photo viewer with something newer that I hated. But there are work arounds for things like that and in no time I had back all the programs I preferred.
Everything worked... but it sucked!
Windows 10 is one big freaking commercial. You can't even play solitaire without ads and pleas for you to give them money to unlock new features.
I would gladly go to Windows 8 at this point over Windows 10. A horrible interface is (for me) much preferable to living in this non-stop advertisement.

But, as to your question LadieStorm, the others are completely right. The previous threads on CSUAC should have everything you are looking for. Once you get it set up, you are gonna have a lot of fun with it!

As for WIndows 10....
I love windows 10. It has solved all of the issues I was having with my graphics drivers. Old Guy, do a google search on how to turn off Windows 10 tracking. It is well worth the several minutes it takes to do and will stop the adds.
I've used all 3 to make maps. No problem there. Its the changes to the Windows interface that makes it difficult to get to the programs I want to use. I solved it, but I shouldn't have had to do so.
