requesting a spot of help, if possiblem cd3
i'm building a city map for a friend who is about to start a new campaign, this city is the home base for the campaign.
It's a very large map, and i seem to be running into a bit of a problem, when i try to save a whole ma of the city, buildings included, it crashes. if i try to map the middle section of the city, same thing. my computer is a 'less than ideal' laptop so memory overflow is a distinct possibillity.
the form won't let me post the fcw (darnit), and i know that anyone trying to troubleshoot the fcw file will probably get tired of it fast.
i will enclose the city overview with the buildings removed. if anyone has any suggestions or sees an obvious problme i'm overlookd, please advise.
Every street indicated has buildings on either side, with most blocks in all pars of the city having a communal courtyard, or a building of significance that the other buildings form a buffer for

Then make a smaller map for a district.
Dtillan Orsti, Trillolara the Poor, Traveler's Path, and Park locations that show new geomorph maps I made for those areas.
For making the smaller maps, search in here for the subject 'large map to small' for one method.
I had another method, but no longer use it.
Basically, I made 800x400 foot maps, and put them on my web site using html to show them next to each other. But I since changed the html to php.
I used Irfanview to stitch them together, and show that on my site. The maps though are outdated and I'll be redoing them in CC3Plus in the future.
