Error installing Cartographer's Annual 2008

I purchased the Cartographer's Annual 2008 (Vol 2) and successfully downloaded the product to my PC.

However I see the following error message when I attempt to install the Annual 08 with the InstallAware Wizard:

"CC3 Not Found

The Cartographer's Annual 2008 is an add-on to ProFantasy's CC3 map-making software. Setup cannot continue because it couldn't find CC3 on this system.

Please install and run CC3 first."

I'm currently using CC3+ on my PC so Setup shouldn't have problems detecting CC3.

Any ideas what's going wrong?

Is cc3 actually installed on your computer?

You have to install each separately because they are two separate programs. The Annual will only work in cc3, not cc3+

CC3+ is installed on my PC, not CC3.

Looking through the CC3+ tool menu last night, I saw that there are already lighting effects options available in CC3+ (which was one of the main reasons I wanted to download the Annual '08). Maybe I don't need the Annual '08 after all?

Yes. All the annuals are being updated, in reverse order. Volume 7 (2013) was released at the end of February and Volume 6 (2012) was released last week.

Do any of the other CC3 products that don't have a CC3+ version need an update for any of the other annuals? I know they had a few diorama issues in the past for example.

Not sure what you mean, Jay. The products (apart from the earlier Annuals= not yet updated for CC3+ are Dioaramas, the Source Maps series including WW2IA and the Tome.

Of those add-ons, I think only Dioramas has "related" annual content, but those issues are really stand-alone. You don't need Dioramas to use them.

The July 2011 in Volume 5 was one that had some stuff for Dioramas Pro to use it fully if my memory is correct. I asked about the ones Volume 8 (The December one and the bonus one.) before as that had two Diorama issues in it and those weren't going to be a problem in CC3+ without having a CC3+ version of Dioramas. No idea about Volume 5.
A few of the older annuals were also designed to show up some of the add oms. Not sure if any of the Source maps stuff was part of them.
