CC3+ User Manual

So maybe I am an idiot (which has been proved on a number of occasions) but after 26 years in the Navy nuclear program I can follow a manual pretty well...

But the CC3+ User Manual which I downloaded as part of the file set for CC3+ called "Campaign Cartographer 3+ User Manual" is driving me up the wall and it turns out the User Manual you download as part of the 7 file set for the CC3+ is DIFFERENT than the one that is installed when you install CC3+ (that one residing in \CCPlus\Documentation which is called "CC3UserManual" but has a cover sheet that says it is for CC3 Plus The one in the Documentation folder has the correct file paths, the correct file names and the examples in the user manual are similar to the files you actually load. The two start deviating at page 18.

The User Manual you can download as a separate file has incorrect file paths, incorrect file names and uses different examples (looks more like Mike Scheley's stuff) than what shows up when you open a file (that sort of follows the file naming structure given).

Is this a case where the User Manual you download separately refers to a test patch or update that hasn't made it out to the user's yet, an editing in progress that got pushed out too early or did my install just get totally borked somehow?

Just trying to work through the user manual and having some head-wall-banging issues.

Have you installed the latest update to CC3+. Use Help -> about and check if your version number is 3.69. If not, you need to install the latest update, it contains changes to CC3+, as well as the correct support files for the latest manual. If you have an older version of CC3+, then the issues you describe would be expected.

Yep I had installed the latest update.

Playing around with it seems to indicate that installing CC3Plus to the D drive is the issue.

Installed it on my desktop to D drive
Installed it on my laptop to C Drive
    Both running Windows 10 Pro
On the desktop installation there seem to a folder (UserManual under Tutorials) and files missing because that ProgramData folders and files (that show up on the laptop install)were never created on the C Drive and the install program doesn't put them in the D drive CC3Plus folder.

Not sure if this is a Windows 10 issue or an installer issue.

Copied them over from the laptop, guess I will have to run a side by side comparison of the two installs to see if anything else is missing, though the programs seem to run fine.
