Connecting two caves
Hello all!
I am relatively new to campaign cartographer. I am trying to draw a cave with the Default cave tool. I am able to expand a cave with "e". But my problem is the following: I have two caves and I want to connect them with a tunnel. I can only expand one cave but can not connect it to the other. Is there any solution?
Thanks,
Blade

If so, the default cave tool uses effects to outline the caves, and these are only generated on the combined outside edges, so you should be able to create a quick tunnel just by using the cave tool and draw it with a slight overlap to the caves it connects to. You may notice the edge where they meet, depending on the size of the dungeon, and what symbols you put there.
Otherwise, you could use Break and/or Split to make cuts in your walls where the tunnel should be, create the connecting lines, and then use Combine Paths and Path to Poly to combine everything back together (or a multipoly if you need a shape with a hole in it). This procedure will provide a better result than just doing an overlap, but it is far more involved.
Also, if you wish a man-made tunnel, just use the corridor tool. It handles breaks in walls automatically.
