DD3 Question

I have seen some examples of art work cased with this program. I am deciding if I should buy this program or not. From what I have seen, the best work comes from the single floor plains of just one room. The main intention of why I may purchase this item is I would like to start making some layouts for my dungeons for my mmorpg idea. If there are tools and symbols that will allow to build a full fledge dungeon with some moderate detail that would be great. Also I have a wide range of different types of dungeons as well. Such as interior and exterior dungeons, man made and environmental dungeons well. Is there a nice range of symbols between the two? Or is it strictly more towards the man made dungeons? Also, does it have a same similar UI as CC3 as well?

DD3 is an add-on to to CC3, so yes, the UI is the same. You can do all types of dungeons with DD3. I recommend checking out the DD3 tutorial videos to see it in action:

Thanks! I will def invest in it. Now, this may be farfetched but could you mix symbols with CC3 and DD3? As in you could use CC3 symbols with DD3? Because that would be fantastic!

Yes, you can mix symbols if you - and City Designer (CD3) symbols with DD3 etc.

If you intend to do a lot of dungeons, you may want to look at Symbol Set 2 for more options. Symbol Set 1 has new overland symbols.

I see? So there is indeed a Symbol Set 2? And this furthers the selection of DD3 and CC3? Or just DD3?

Symbol Set 2 is basically symbols for DD3. Some of them are probably useful for overland and city maps, but it is basically a dungeon/floorplan set.

And Symbol Set 1 will add more overland mapping styles symbols.
