When I place structures onto a contour, they disappear on redraw

Am a total newb at this, so it's probably something simple. But they look fine on background part of map. I put them on contoured part and <poof>. Tried setting up a sheet with Structures Front. Same thing happened. Worked on background, no go on contoured areas.

    Check your sheets. Either the contour, or your symbols are probably on the wrong sheet. You can use the LIST command to see which sheet an entity is on (Info --> List).
    Also check your sheet order, remember that sheets lower down in the list will overlap those higher up in the list, so correct order is important. The sheet for your symbols needs to be further down the list than the sheet with the contours on.

    Note that the reason things disappear on a redraw is that to make working with CC3 more responsive, new entities that are placed will always be placed on top of everything else, it is only on the next redraw that things will get placed in the correct drawing order.
