Smooth appearance of line symbols

Hello all,

I liked the look of a map I saw in the gallery that uses the line symbols, but can't get them to look smooth. Thay all appear to be non-anti-aliased (very choppy). Any idea how to get the line symbols to look smooth?

As far as I know, CC3 can't do anti-aliasing. Remember that the line symbols are vector-based, which means that the lines will be smother the larger resolution you export to. You may get good results by exporting a large image, then reducing it in an image-processing program.
Adding a slight blur effect from inside CC3 might also work...

Are these the regular line symbols or the hand drawn line symbols ?

I assume the regular line symbols. They are found in the Symbols/Maps/Line directory. Is there a difference?

The hand drawn have a more 'sketch-like' appearance.

Ah, oops. I just checked and I don't see any hand drawn symbols in CC3, but they are in CC2. Sorry. I have been very tired the past week or so, started a new job.

Good luck, JimP! I think I've decided to move to the Filled symbols instead--old school, but with color!
