What are the best file sharing websites that we can use for sharing high res versions of our maps?
Thanks

Many of the sites I looked at had pretty small size limits for 'per file' or total if you don't want to pay. The size limits per file commonly were 5MB - 10MB.
I may have to bite the bullet and pay but would rather not. Suggestions welcome!

http://www.cwahi.net/ And here is their FAQ/Terms of Service page
They have a small 21 pixel text bar that gets loaded by the server when your pages are viewed. No limit on bandwidth nor storage. One of the users has a large multi-gigabyte site. The accounts are sub-domains, the owner is working on adding domains.
It is has been awhile since I have built a website - I will have to update my skill sets - LoL! :-)

http://www.mediafire.com
Please note that this isn't intended as a specific recommendation. It's only info.

What I do not see on the site is a section labeled registration.
How do you get started?
The same company also has paid sites, you can get domains and cpanel at this one: http://www.crosswinds.net/ lots of blog/cms, etc. nistalls available via cpanel.
I don't get anything if you sign up with them.
I use that for my various RPG files.
JimP, please let me know if you hear anything back.
I may have to go with mediafire if your site is not accepting people anymore.
I would need to pay though for what I need - $5.00 a month is not bad though I guess for 1TB.
My high res regional files are running in the mid-60MB range.
My paid site has had 4 gigabytes with no issues.
That gives me over 14GB of space.
I posted high res links to both the Vagoth thread & the Batiskakna and the Allhardrland thread.
Check them out.
Thanks JimP & Jay_NOLA!
I really appreciate the replies!
Most of the time, you never know if anyone is actually viewing your posts. :-)
