Dungeon map for PF RPG. Square tile trouble

Hi Pr0 Mappers!

Im really new to DD3 and CC3.
Im creating a map to use for GM'ing in Pathfinder roleplaying game.
My problem is that i cant get DD3 to divide the Square tiles as i want them.
I want the tiles divided in 5*5 feet so that it fits the combat system of PF.
But say i create a new tiny map that only 5*5 feet, and check grid overlay, then it divides my 5*5 into 1*1 feet squares.
And if i make larger maps they get another size dependent on the map size.

My question: Is there any way that i can force it to divide my map into 5*5 feet square no matter the map size?

Thanks in advance.

During map creation, when you check the grid overlay option, hit the grid settings button, and specify the grid size you want.
If you need a different snap grid as well, after starting the map, right click the snap button (Bottom corner) and select an appropriate snap grid, or create a new one.
  • You'll want to pick an map size that will work for you based on the count of how many 5' squares you want. So say you want an image that's going to be 23 squares across and 16 square up and down. You'll set your map up to be 23 squares x 5' across and 16 squares x 5' up and down, so 115' by 80'.

If you're going to have 100 pixels per square for VTT use then your image should be exported at 2300 x 1600 (23 squares x 100 pixels).

If you have a 5'x'5' map why would you try to put a grid on it anyway? That's a single grid square, no grid needed and a map of very limited use I would imagine. :)
