The style pack Ancient Realms Part I by TJ Vandel
Does anyone know if the style pack Ancient Realms Part I by TJ Vandel will be compatible for CC3+?
I am really interested in using this style for my overall world map.
Thanks,
Charles W. Robinson

No release date has been set on when the exact compatibility version will be released for everything.
Jay_NOLA,
This is the one that is coming out in October.
:-)
That said, remember the style pack is part of the 2015 Cartographer's Annual, so you've got to subscribe to the annual to get the style pack.

One thing I like is how small the hills are. In some of the styles, the hills are HUGE relative to the mountains, and it really looks weird to me (I know I can always rescale the hills, but it still seems weird when some of the hills default to being larger than some of the mountains). This looks a lot more reasonable to me. Great style!
I needed a quick treasure map for my students so I gave a try to this new style. It's really cool and I like the fact that Mike Schley's Symbols mix well with it.
And I really love the forest tool !
For the sea I used the default land fill style with an RGB effect though...
Done with CC3+.
The first version is in full colors but the second has a Sepia RGB matrix effect on the whole drawing for the treasure map feel.
What font did you use for the ancient alien looking language text and what does it say exactly?
Very interested in getting a copy of the font.
"I burried the treasure at the same distance from the Vergessene Temple (Forgotten Temple), from the Spitze des Gewitters (Thunderpeak) and from the Stein der Vergangenheit (Stone of the Past)."
I used Mara's eyes font. Please note that Dafont says the font is 100% free but the zip has a readme file that states it's shareware...
Second part of the exercice is of course to locate the treasure...
Out of curiosity, which language did you use for the message? German, like the map labels?
Rock on!

Nix für Ungut.
There was no treasure as nobody found it but it was a great session and most of the students loved it (and the marks where good too...)
