I think this is a registry issue as I remember some posts with people having install reinstall problems with reinstalling and installing on the newer version of Windows having problems with that and a file getting messed up.

If that is the case Profantasy support can help you out so contact them. I remember some people need to get all new serial keys because of similar issues.

Also, the installer can hang for a good bit at times I found before installing or advancing to the next screen on various versions of Windows. Make sure you only click next one. Some anti-virus soft ware like Norton make it hang and cause problems too.

Disable any anti-virus software. Mae sure you are connected to the net too when installing and running as an Admin by right clicking the installer when you run it.

The only other thing you can check to see if it is the problem is to make sure is that Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime package from Microsoft are installed as this can cause install problems and running problems if it isn't installed.

Try downloading and installing Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime package from Microsoft.

The download link for Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime is at this link.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784

Note, that several downloads are available so be sure and read the info on the page and download the version for your version of Windows.

Make sure you also right click and run as an Admin too when you install it and your CC3, etc. software.
  • Thank you - i deleted every key in the registry which was named ft3 - then i installed it ;)
