Using CC3+ w/Codeweaver on Mac problems
I've downloaded CC3+ for Mac using Codeweaver, but am having some problems. Hopefully someone can help me.
1) While I've downloaded both the City Designer and the Dungeon Designer, when I open up CC3+, the two icons don't appear in the space by the toolbars as I believe they are supposed to do, so I don't have access to them.
2) I'm struggling with where things are saving. Being on a mac, it seems like it keeps putting things in a C drive and shows me the path to the folders, but when I try to find those folders, I can't find them on the mac. I'm not able to locate both City Designer and Dungeon Designer, or any maps I'm trying to save.

Item 2 first as this is the easy one , when you go to save a file you will be sent to the default area within cc3 + , if you keep drilling up through the directory structure you will eventually come to your user home directory , you can then navigate to where you want to save your file , cc3+ will remember this location.
As to item 1 , I would contact Ralp as he can help you better than me

When you say, "contact Ralph," who is that?
As to save aspect, I understand what you said, yet it seems that if I go up the directory but stay within the pretend C drive, then I can't locate it. If I go outside the C drive into the Mac files, then I'm not able to open the map, as it says that there is no application to open it.
As for there being a special/particular bottle, I just created a regular one through the directions in the forum on doing it through Codeweaver.
Thoughts?
1. Find Your Library Folder
Your Mac OS is probably hiding your library by default. In Finder, click the VIEW menu and then select SHOW VIEW OPTIONS (or hit CMD+J). Check the SHOW LIBRARY FOLDER option.
Now you'll be able to navigate to your CC3 folder. Which is a journey, let me tell you.
2. Navigating to Your CC3 Folder
Here's the path: Your hard drive > Users > Library > Application Support > Crossover > Bottles > CC3+ (or whatever you called your bottle) > drive_c > users > Public > Application Data > Profantasy > CC3Plus.
I've included a screen shot from my monitor that shows most of those steps. Confusing, right? Here's my solution...
3. Organizing Stuff
a. Once you find that CC3Plus folder at the end of that crazy chain in step 2, click and drag that CC3Plus folder into the Favorites menu on the left side of your screen. From now on, you have instant access to your CC3 folders.
b. (Optional) Create a My Designs folder and put it somewhere else, like in My Documents for instance. This isn't necessary once you can access your CC3 folder easily, but because I like to save maps as JPG and BMP files, I want a place where I can access them without digging into the CC3 directory. I keep mine under Documents > Gaming > Maps > My Designs. But that's just my particular preference. They could probably stay in the CC3 folder and be alright. Whatever you prefer. Regardless, I think that moving your CC3Plus folder into favorites will save you a lot of headaches. Was a game changer for me.
Hope that helps!
