putting curtained windows on wall

How do you get the windows with curtains to stay INSIDE the room?

I always find that they flip round so the curtains are outside the house if I don't put them in kind of 'manual' settings (can't remember the wording of the tick box below the rotation box). It's not a big problem but I'd love to know how to do it without having to untick that box!

    Smart symbols should orient depending on which side of the center line of your wall the mouse cursor is. But make sure to turn off Snap (bottom right corner); since this tries to force symbols to snap points, it can interfere with symbols orienting to walls.
