Yea, I can see why this would happen. For some reason, these symbols does not have the force sheet option set, so they are added to the current sheet instead of the SYMBOLS sheet where all the other symbols go.
A workaround is to always manually set the sheet to SYMBOLS before placing these. A more permanent fix is to open up the symbol catalog for editing (open it up as you would a map), then, using the symbol manager, access the options for these two symbols, and set the Force Sheet option to SYMBOLS* then save the symbol catalog (The symbol catalog is located in c:\ProgramData\ProFantasy\CC3Plus\Symbols\Maps\Mike Schley\Mountains.FSC)
This is obviously a bug, I'll notify ProFantasy so that it can be fixed in a future update.
Another issue I've noticed with this style is that some of the mountains have translucent bases, so you have to be careful to place them so you can't see other mountains through them. Not a big deal - you just have to be careful.
That's intentional, because it helps the symbols blend together when placing multiple symbols close by. Makes individual mountain symbols look much more like a connected mountain chain.
I understand that it's intentional, and it does look nice. You just have to take some care about placement to avoid possible visual oddities. I guess, though, we should always be taking care about placement.
