For that case, I would say it is probably easier to simply draw the landmass inside the border anew. Just start the landmass drawing tool as usual, place the first node, then use the trace functionality of the tool to trace the existing coastline. Once you have done that, you can delete the old landmass. See page 52 of the CC3+ user manual for more information about using Trace.
