Forest Fill Options
I have a question about forest fills for CC3+ Mike Schley style.
Under the forest symbol options; on all the fill styles, you click on the fill option (like farmland) and you get the farmland fill.
When you click on forest background and you get the solid 20 fill like you are supposed to.
When you click on one of the specific forests you do not get the appropriate fill style, they all give you the solid 20 fill.
You have to go in and manually pick the specific fill style you want (such as Jungle).
There is no mixed forest fill at all.
Is this the way it is supposed to be or is there an issue?
Thanks,
Charles W. Robinson

If you only get the background, and no trees, make sure that you haven't hidden any sheets and/or layers that could cause symbols being hid. (Easily testable by manually placing a single tree symbol, then trigger a redraw)
None of the sheets nor layers are hidden.
I expanded my map all the way out too see the whole world map.
I then used the forest tool covering most of the world map and the trees popped in no problem.
The problem is that no matter what I try, they are huge!
They are bigger than my mountains!
My world map is 10,000 miles wide and 12,000 miles tall.
My individual trees are set at 0.06 and my tree fills are set at 6.
The symbols are not shrinking to what I need.
Any suggestions?
Be careful with this tool though. If you use it to create those huge forests on your map, they will create a lot of symbols, especially at that scale. This takes both time and resources.
It works like a charm!
