FPOLY not working

FPOLY has not worked for me ever since CD3 and Patch 6. I was hoping Patch 7 would fix this, but it hasn't. I've done a complete uninstall and reinstall of all CC software (twice) but it is still not working. I have set up a drawing tool that works fine, but the actual Command as well as the button does not work. It just draws a fractal line without closing the polygon.

Any suggestions?

I don't use FPOLY very often, but testing it now, I see I have the problem too. Draw tools (like landmass) works, but not the basic command, it just creates a fractal path instead.

Unless Ralf or Simon gives a quick answer here, you should probably send in a tech request for this one, to make sure they are aware of the issue.

smooth poly works, but not fractal poly for me.

This is on an overland template.

I have patch 7 installed, required to install SMC: Castles

I had some trouble consistently reproducing this error, but I think I now found the catch: If I run FPATH first once, FPOLY works just fine afterwards.

Please try to start a new map, draw a fractal path, and THEN a fractal polygon. Does the command now work for you?

That also makes the command work for me. I guess I'll use that as a work around for the time being.

It still does not work for me. Right click will not close the Fractal Poly and fill with fill style. Box, Polygon, and Smooth Polygon but Fractal Polygon does not work. Any suggestions?

If Ralf's workaround above doesn't work, and you are sure you have the newest patch, you should contact ProFantasy Tech Support. They might be able to help you out.
