Terrain tile rate/resolution on larger maps

Hi,

I'm relatively new to CC3 and am trying to work out how - if its possible - to change the tile rate/resolution of overland terrain in larger maps. I.e. in a large map (say 8000 x 4000) I'm finding that the resolution of terrain like forests and mountains and, indeed, any terrain (not symbols) is really poor - in CC3 itself (I'm not talking about when we then save it to bitmap - I know how to change that resolution and it makes no difference to this problem). So forests, mountains etc. will come to look really pixelated (both when you actually draw them onto the map and in the drawing window). I can just rescale the whole map, but sometimes would like a large map with very high overall detail.

Is there any way to control this? Or are maps above 2000 x 1000 not really recommended?

Many thanks

CC3 uses four different resolutions for each fill style to speed up redraws. If you find that CC3 does not display the appropriate resolution, you can always click the 'Display Speed Settings' button and force it to display the fill in a higher quality.
