Tome and wall towers?

Maybe someone can point me in the right direction here. I'm going through the tome of ultimate mapping and in the city designer section and i'm trying to build wall towers as per the instructions but i can't seem to form them correctly. They look like attached. What am I doing wrong here?

Figured it out. There is an error in the instructions. In the second paragraph the width values apply to the wrong settings. For the two sections they need to be reversed in order.
