Hi all,

I made this battle-map for an upcoming article and thought I could share it as a teaser

I wanted a blazing hot outside and a -relatively- cooler inside.

It's a direct export from CC3 without any postwork (except the border).

Hope it won't burn your eyes...

That's great. Speaking of eyes it reminds me of Sauron in the Lord of the Rings as it very much also looks like an eye. The fire, glow, etc...are all phenomenal.

Great Job JDR. I cant wait to see this article. Im really interested on the blending effect you did with the colors. I'm guessing but it looks like 4-5 different colors were used?

Well, it depends...

The main fill style (stone) has three versions of different colors.

Then you have the flames and the lava floor.

I really like this. Are the tiles on the floor supposed to represent possible flame traps? sort of like pressure plates? Nicely done Joachim.
