Mapping with new DD3 Install for CC3+

I installed and played with it for about an hour. Everything I tried worked fine under CC3+.

It could be that I'm missing a point here, but I was rather disappointed that the DD3 symbol toolbar offers only vector symbol catalogs (which I wouldn't use) and not the DD3 raster symbol catalogs.

    Sounds like a master filter wasn't loaded properly. If you start from a DD3 template, you should definitely get the DD3 raster symbols.

    Try right-clicking on the symbol style toggle button, select master filter, and ensure that DD3 Color (Or something like that) is the selected option, then everything should work fine. Obviously, this should have been loaded with the template though.

    I did start with the right template, but CC3+ ignored it. However, after doing it manually, like you suggested, it works fine. I switched back and forth between raster and vector templates and it performs properly each time, so I think there was just some kind of strange start-up glitch.

    Yea, I expected that was the cause, I was just trying to say what was supposed to happen, not insinuating you picked the wrong template. I have seen this a couple of times. Normally, it works fine, but sometimes the master filter instruction seems to be ignored, so you have to set it manually.
