New to ProFantasy and Cartographer!
Hello everyone, my name is Cody and as the title says, I am completely new to Cartographer 3. This program really intrigued my artistic side and I wanted to give it a go. Although the program is currently intimidating and extremely convoluted, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. My friends and I are developing a story for a video game and have a team of graphic designers and programmers who are going to make our story a reality. So I'm sure they will make this map themselves at some point. However, I would like to make a rough draft concept with ProFantasy's Cartographer 3, which is a great engine with potential for beautiful maps!
So I have just one question!
Let's say I create a land mass and I want to break it in half, not separate, but almost create two "zones" in one land mass. Is there a way to do this? I would like to simply create 3-4 large land masses and create borders to represent each "zone" that will be in the game. Some what like that of World of Warcraft. (I attached an image to give a little visual assistance) Also, I would like to separate each zone by different colored borders if at all possible. For example, a land of volcanos, black rock, lava and ash would have an almost burgundy shore line, where as a lagoon or tropical beach would have a traditional tan sand to crystal blue waters shore line. I have much to grasp, but I'm excited to learn! Thank you for any help!
