it's not 100% arcurate but yes it's orbit cuts in on Uranus.. at times durring it's orbit it becomes the 8th 'planet' in our solar system rather then the 9th.
iirc, when Pluto comes back in close enough it gains an atmosphere. Then the gases freeze back into solids when Pluto's orbit takes it back out past Uranus.

I have to agree with your comment on Pluto as well.
As for Pluto's orbit compared to the other planets, is that accurate? I didn't realize it was so different. It makes it look like a captured asteroid.
